This Wednesday, May 5, the sales stand of one of the new luxury residential developments under construction in Porto is inaugurated.
The 5th Porto, so named because it is located at Rua de D. Pedro V, also facing Rua Capitão Salgueiro Maia, is being born in the place of a former Opel dealer, the Gamobar Centrum Douro, which opened in December 2000 and closed in June 2018.
The real estate developer Avenue bought these facilities for approximately seven million euros, with the total investment in the 5th Porto project estimated at 40 million euros.
Located at the mouth of the riverfront, between the city center and Foz, the 5th Porto consists of 82 apartments (types T1 to T4) and 16 duplex “villas” (T1 to T3), the cheapest being – one T1 with 58 square meters, on the ground floor – for sale for 185 thousand euros.
The most expensive T1, which does not reach 52 square meters but is located on the 5th floor, costs 365 thousand euros.
And what is the most expensive apartment in the 5th Porto? It is the 5th floor duplex T4, with 195.5 square meters and which is being sold for 1.775 million euros.
There are T2 from 385 thousand euros, T3 from 510 thousand and T4 whose prices start at 795 thousand euros.
The 5th Porto, which has the signature of the architect Arnaldo Brito and will be marketed jointly by Predibisa with JLL, will also have swimming pools, a gym, a vegetable garden, a children’s playground, garden areas and even a paddle tennis court, for the exclusive use of future residents.
For João Magalhães, chairman of Predibisa, “this is an exclusive opportunity that will bring a new generation of families to this area of the city and its strengths will certainly make this another success story in our portfolio”, he considered, in a statement sent to the newsrooms.
“This condominium is the project that the city lacked, with infrastructures designed for residents and children to play outdoors, safely, combining all of this with an attractive ‘layout’, whose greatest asset is undoubtedly in the landscapes over the Douro River “, stressed the same responsible.
“The 5th Porto is the realization of a unique project”, summarized Patrícia Barão, Head of Residential at JLL.
