Correio da Manhã said goodbye to 2020 as the media with the greatest digital reach in Portugal, totaling in December a multiplatform reach of 3 million and 808 thousand people. The Cofina daily, which has held the leadership of NetAudience since August, saw its digital reach grow compared to the 3 million and 542 thousand people it reached in the previous month. TVI continues to be in the second position in the Marktest ranking, which also recorded a rise from 3.33 million people reached in digital in November to 3.68 million in the last month of the year.
With a multiplatform reach of 3.27 million people, Jornal de Notícias continues to close the top 3, excluding Mundo Sapo. The content aggregator, which has titles such as newspaper I, Jornal Económico, Visão, Activa, Eco or Polígrafo, totals a multiplatform reach of 4 million and 185 thousand people, a value that ensures the overall leadership of the NetAudience ranking.
Among the generalist titles, Expresso reaches the end of the year in the fourth position, which it recovered in November when it overcame the Diário de Notícias. In December, the Impresa weekly slightly increased its digital reach from 2.54 million people to 2.57 million. The title of the Global Media Group, which returned to the daily newsstand format on December 29, saw its digital reach drop from 2.54 million people reached in November to 2.45 million people in the last month of 2020. Notícias ao Minuto, which in June occupied the fifth position in the general ranking, stopped in the last year from being audited by NetAudience, following a decision that had already been taken by Público. Sonaecom’s daily, it is recalled, abandoned the Marktest ranking for not agreeing with the analysis criteria.
Record maintains its leadership in the sports segment despite dropping from 1.86 million people it had reached in the previous month to 1.62 million, followed by O Jogo, which also fell from 1.62 million people reached 1, 58 million in December, and by MaisFutebol, which reached 1.16 million people (registering 1.12 million in November).
The leadership among economic segment titles also remains in the hands of Cofina, with Jornal de Negócios very close to the target of the 2 million people reached on digital platforms in the previous month at the end of the year with 1.97 million reach. Dinheiro Vivo recorded a decrease from the 1.03 million people reached in November to around 922 thousand people.

This is followed by Comercial (704 thousand people), which surpasses the Renaissance (659 thousand people).
