At that point, however, Paks would have been in desperate need of a goal, because not only was the result of the Piscitelli-Varga special match 2-0, but it also appeared on the scoreboard. Mezőkövesd took the lead already in the fifth minute, when they could have scored three times in one attack, but Drazsics scored in the end. And in the 38th minute it was already 2-0, at the end of a counter, Drazsics found the net again.
Mezőkövesd did not sit on the two-goal advantage even after the break, which started with another quick goal: in the 49th minute, after a big mistake by the Paks defense, Vajda sold the kick. Two minutes later, György Bognár took Barnabás Varga off the pitch, and János Hahn came to replace him – hopefully that’s not when his potential contract in France fell through.
