The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Branislav Nedimović, stated that there is no doubt that the export of agricultural products will be significant, as well as that the Government of Serbia has made a decision on the free regime of flour exports from May 15.

The Government of Serbia has made a decision on the export of flour, there are no more restrictions and that decision will come into force on May 15, Nedimović told Tanjug and added that there will be no correction in the price of that product.

The Minister reminded that the quota of 23,000 tons per month for the export of flour was valid so far.

“We have enough flour in Serbia, Serbia is not endangered with this food, so the flour goes to the free regime as it was before March 8,” Nedimović explained.

Asked about the price of flour, Nedimović said that the price was determined on the basis of a government decree.

“The price has been determined for the next 60 days. There will be no correction in the price of flour, “Nedimović said.

The Minister also stated that the export of agricultural products will be significant and added that the prices are more than good, especially in the cereals sector.

It is too early to talk about corn because sowing is just over, who knows what it will be like by August and September, but there is no doubt that the demand for Serbian goods will be serious, and prices are more than good, especially in the cereals sector “, Nedimović emphasized.

Asked whether this rate of grain exports will be able to empty enough warehouses for the new crop, Nedimovic said that there will be enough storage capacity, and that he expects Serbia to have a good crop of wheat.

“Absolutely. We will have enough storage capacity for the new generation. As things stand, the yield of wheat should be very good, but we still have a month and a half until that, “Nedimović concluded.
