Nation alliance gathered under the title of election security

The leaders met at the CHP Headquarters at 22:00. A joint statement regarding the meeting came.

The statement noted:

“As the Nation Alliance leaders, we came together 48 hours before spring. At the meeting, we discussed the activities carried out during the campaign and the preparations for ballot box security, which has been going on for about 1.5 years.

We would like to say with great faith, determination and peace of mind that we are ready with all our staff for the 14 May 2023 Presidential Election and the 28th Term Parliamentary Election that will bring spring to our country.

May our nation rest in peace; Nation Alliance is ready with 561 thousand 977 officers and volunteers for 192 thousand 229 ballot boxes. In addition, volunteer lawyers will be present at every voting point, in case of need, carefully examining each objection. No ballot box will be left idle, and the election will be concluded without overshadowing the democratic tradition of the Republic of Turkey.

Dear Nation, Türkiye is on the threshold of a new era. This new era will be built with the understanding of qualified staff, transparent and fair management.

Our expectation is that our 64 million 114 thousand 341 voters who have the right to vote will contribute to democracy in full. As the leaders of the alliance of the nation, we promise to build democracy in our beautiful country.”
