My BIK – protection against fraudulent loans is now available in the Android and iOS application

An account in the Credit Information Bureau enables ongoing access to our finances, and above all, thanks to BIK Alerts operating in a 24/7 mode, it protects against frauds for stolen data.

BIK alerts – it really works

Personally, I can confirm that BIK Alerts work very well, almost in real time. I bought this service for PLN 24 a year, it is only PLN 2 a month, and it gives a relative sense of security that no one will take a loan for our data.

Notifications about taking financial information come immediately. For example, when I activated the Allegro Pay package, I immediately received an alert that Allegro had checked me at BIK, the same applies to every phone call from the bank with a loan offer.

BIK alerts are not the only service that can be activated on your account. You can also buy a BIK Package for PLN 99 per year, including, in addition to BIK Alerts, 6-fold generation of BIK Reports or the BIK indicator, and for an additional PLN 29 per year we can receive information on the financial situation of our contractors on an ongoing basis.

My BIK – mobile application for Android and iOS

So far, alerts from the purchased services in the Credit Information Bureau have been sent by SMS and / or e-mail, depending on the parameters defined in the account. From now on, it will be possible in one place from the level of the mobile application.

Director of the BIK Retail Market Department:

We have launched the My BIK application because we want to be even closer to our customers with our offer. More and more people want information quickly, “here and now”. The My BIK application responds to this need. Just reach for your smartphone to control your finances no matter where you are. I think that the My BIK application is useful for all people who are already paying off their loans and credits, and this is 15 million Poles. In addition, our application helps to protect against fraud – this is what all adult Poles should be interested in.

In addition, in each of the purchased packages, we can use three useful services – BIK Protect, i.e. a tool for checking a smartphone for security. In addition, the mobile application also includes the service of the reservation of an identity document in the event of its loss or theft, as well as credit reservation, i.e. native blocking of taking loans for your data in all financial institutions.

By launching the mobile application, we can set up a new account at BIK or, if we already have one, associate it with our mobile device. Unfortunately, in this case, we will only be able to use the already purchased package, and activate new packages in the application after the expiry of the current one, previously purchased on the BIK portal. Alternatively, we can contact BIK to activate the mobile offer.

In the application, we can set logging in with a PIN, without the need to enter a password or selected digits from the PESEL number each time, or activate biometric login.

The My BIK mobile application for iOS can be downloaded from the store App Storeand for Android devices on board with Google Play.
