MV Agusta is preparing more models of 950 cubic meters

The executive director of MV Agusta, Timur Sardarov, confirmed that a completely new series of 950 cc motorcycles is on the way.

Sardarov revealed the upcoming plans after an exclusive interview for the British portal MCN.

According to available information, the new 950 series will use a 931 cc three-cylinder engine, housed in the Lucky Explorer 9.5 adventure motorcycle (pictured).

“The 950 series we are working on will be state-of-the-art.”

“As an aggregate, the 950 will find its place on other platforms, in different specifications.”

“This is a unit for adventurous specifications, and you will see others – more sporty and for some machines,” Rus emphasized.

Sardarov also revealed that the current range of 800 cubic meters will also get new units.

“Superveloce, F3 and Turismo Veloce, all will move to 950.”

“We will have variants of 800 and 950 cubic meters,” he added.

MV Agusta previously stated that the 950 develops 121 hp at 10,000 rpm and 102 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm, and that it can reach a top speed of 250 km / h.

Interestingly, migration is enabled because the new engine shares the same overall dimension as the existing 798 cc triple engine, allowing the new engine to be equipped with the same grille frame and mounting points.

During the interview, Sardarov confirmed that the new 9.5 adventure motorcycle will arrive on the market only after April 2023.
