MSI prepares gaming laptops with Intel Alder Lake-P processors and new NVIDIA graphics cards

MSI is preparing to release the updated Raider GE66 and GE76 gaming laptops, as well as the Stealth GS66, equipped with the yet unannounced high-performance Core i9-12900HK and Core i7-12700H Alder Lake-P series processors. Information about them on the website of one of the European stores discovered a Twitter user with the alias @momomo_us.

The description of the processors in the laptops confirms earlier rumors that they will both receive 14 physical cores (6 productive and 8 energy efficient), supporting processing of 20 virtual threads. An equally curious detail of the detected leak is the video cards with model numbers GN20-E6 and GN20-E8 declared as part of these MSI laptops. According to all the same rumors, in the first case we are talking about a mobile GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and in the second – about a mobile GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. Both accelerators have not yet been officially presented by NVIDIA.

These MSI laptops will represent the upper segment of gaming laptops. According to the leak, prices for them will start at almost 2,700 euros. This amount will most likely be asked for a model with a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Max-Q video card (maximum energy efficiency) and a Core i7-12700H processor. The most expensive version will be the 17-inch model of the GE76 Raider laptop with Core i9-12900HK and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti on board. It is tentatively estimated at 4,768 euros.

Intel mobile processors and NVIDIA mobile graphics cards are expected to be announced at CES 2022 in January.
