A 30-year-old police officer died in a traffic accident in Kallimarmaro on Thursday morning, when the motorcycle he was riding in collided with a bus at the descent of Vasileos Konstantinou, in Kallimarmaro.
The 30-year-old originally from Kalambaka, lived in Athens and worked as a special guard.
How did the car accident happen?
The traffic accident occurred shortly before 06:00 on Thursday morning (11/5) on the descent of Vasileos Konstantinou in Kallimarmaro. A bus which was trying to turn into the rising current collided with a motorcycle as a result of which the rider was injured and transported by EKAB ambulance to an on-call hospital.
The 30-year-old was covered in blood on the tarmac, with the bus driver calling an ambulance in a state of shock. He was taken to “Evangelismos” hospital where he finally succumbed to his injuries.
