Motorola continues to supply us with interesting smartphones. After a load of solidly equipped new products from the Motorola Edge 30 series, however, the middle class comes to the fore in the form of the Motorola Moto G72. It will offer, for example, enough performance thanks to a modern processor from Mediatek, a top P-OLED display or a 108 MPx camera.
P-OLED display and new Mediatek
Although the Motorola Moto G72 is still waiting for a complete unveiling, the manufacturer has laid out more than enough cards on the table with which the novelty has to play for the favor of customers. One of the main ones will undoubtedly be the display. It is supposed to be 6.55″ P-OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate image, FullHD+ resolution and 567Hz touch sensing frequency. In addition, however, it is a 10-bit panel capable of displaying up to a billion colors, and the proclaimed sound luminosity 1300 nits. Considering that the Motorola Moto G72 is supposed to stand somewhere on the border between lower-middle and middle class, these parameters are more than impressive, and we haven’t even mentioned the fingerprint reader hidden under the display.
Other parameters already fit more into the rank of the specified category. Even if it is used Mediatek Helio G99 built on 6nm technology and will offer quite solid performance even for playing games, there is one downside to its use, namely the absence of support for fifth generation networks. The phone should then exist at least in a variant with 6 GB of operating memory and 128GB of storage. We can notice three lenses on the back. The primary 108 MPx camera and an unspecified ultra-wide and macro camera found engagement here. We must not forget either stereoreproduktory or applied water-repellent surface. However, it also reached the fulfillment of durability standards – specifically IP52. The integrated battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and 33W charging is supported.
On the software side, we can – traditionally – look forward to almost pure Android with only partial improvements. So far, however, only in the Android 12 version. In this case, the manufacturer will also offer its own security, taken from ThinkPad laptops belonging to the parent company Lenovo. It is specifically about protection ThinkShield, which combines software and hardware security to protect users against phishing attacks, malware and other threats. Thanks to this, the Motorola Moto G72 also fits the role of a suitable business smartphone. The full disclosure of the news will then take place 3rd of Octoberthe price should be around 7,500 CZK.
