Motorola Edge 40 comes for 600 euros

A good month after the top model Motorola Edge 40 Pro, the manufacturer has now presented the Edge 40, a mid-range smartphone.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels (FHD+) and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The display’s peak brightness is 1,200 nits. A fingerprint sensor is integrated in the display.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020. The processor has eight cores and a clock frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. The internal memory is 256 GB, plus there is 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 battery has a capacity of 4,400 mAh and is charged with up to 68W. The smartphone also supports 15W wireless charging.

The main camera of the Edge 40 has a resolution of 50 megapixels and a large f/1.4 aperture. There is also a 13 MP ultra wide-angle camera that covers a 120-degree field of view. The third sensor is a macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP.

The Motorola Edge 40 comes with Android 13. It comes in Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Lunar Blue colors. Depending on the model, the back is made of vegan leather or matte acrylic. The smartphone is protected against water and dust according to IP68. The market launch will take place at the end of May at a price of 599.99 euros.
