The most proven cases, 35.3 million, are in the United States, which also recorded the highest number of deaths. Over 614,000 people died there with the covid-19. India has the second highest number of confirmed diseases, with 31.8 million cases and more than 425,000 deaths. It is followed by Brazil with almost 20 million cases and about 558,000 deaths. In the Czech Republic, 1.67 million people became infected with coronavirus and over 30,300 of them died.

More than four billion doses of covid-19 vaccines have been administered worldwide, according to JHU. The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus today pointed to a significant difference in the rate of vaccination in different parts of the world and called on rich countries to temporarily stop revaccination, ie the administration of the third dose.
