More IKEA smart devices will receive support for HomeKit

Currently, some IKEA smart devices from the TRADFRI line are HomeKit compatible. More accessories will soon join this group.

The editors of the iCulture website discovered that the Swedish giant has released a software update – described as 1.13.21 – intended for the gateway, which will introduce support for HomeKit in hotkeys and in the motion sensor. The required software should be officially available shortly. This will likely happen within a few days.

Shortcut key was valued at PLN 29.99, while wireless motion sensor is an expense of PLN 50.
