Monirul set the record with 13 tennis balls in one hand

Once again, Monirul Islam of Bhairab in Kishoreganj entered the Guinness Book of World Records. Monirul, a second-year student in the economics department at the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University, set the record with 13 tennis balls on one hand.

The recognition was released by Guinness World Records last Tuesday (November 30).

Earlier, in September this year, he set a Guinness Book of World Records by holding a maximum of 50 pencils in one hand in 30 seconds.

Monirul Islam is the son of Zahirul Islam, a Qatari expatriate from Mirararchar village in Kalikaprasad union of Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj district. After setting the first record, he started practicing to set a new record. After that he broke the record of having 12 tennis balls on one hand and kept his name in Guinness World Records by keeping 13 new tennis balls.

Earlier, Italian nationals Silvio Sabba and Rocco set a Guinness Book of World Records with 12 tennis balls in one hand. Monirul Islam broke their record and set a Guinness Book of World Records with 13 new balls.

Record holder Monirul Islam said, “First I achieved the fame of holding 50 pencils in 50 seconds with one hand.” After receiving the Guinness Book of World Records for the first time, I received a lot of love and inspiration from family, relatives and well-wishers. From that inspiration I became interested in recording new things again. Since then I have been practicing new subjects since last September and following all the rules I have achieved the fame of holding 13 tennis balls in one hand.
