Mol is helping the operation of the energy network in Ukraine with subsidies

The Mol Group has joined the initiative of the International Oil and Gas Producers Association (IOGP) and is participating in an asset relief program for Ukraine. The aim of the industry cooperation is to repair the damage caused during the war and to help the continuous operation of the Ukrainian energy network. The program is coordinated by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and the Energy Community, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy provides regular and accurate information on the tools needed to operate the network.

The Mol Group has offered a total of EUR 290 thousand in support, of which the Ukrainian side has so far confirmed a asset requirement of EUR 50 thousand.

Mol itself supplies the fitting, piping and components to the Ukrainian border to facilitate the continuity of oil and gas production and the continuous operation of the energy network. Negotiations between the Energy Community and the Ukrainian authority are ongoing, and Mol is constantly monitoring emerging needs and working to provide further assistance under the support program, the statement said.
