Recently, the Central Government has issued notification of (Adjudication of Fines) Rules 2021. The authority may specially appoint an officer under this rule. The amount of fine imposed by the officer will be deposited in the UIDAI fund. Under this rule, if someone is not able to pay the fine amount, then his property can also be auctioned.

1 crore will be fined
UIDAI has now got the right to take action against those who misuse the Aadhar card. The Government of India has issued a notification saying that UIDAI has been empowered to impose a fine of up to one crore rupees against those who do not comply with the Aadhaar Act.
