One of the workers the Minister of Manpower met was Fitri, a Dowa Bag and Factory worker in Godean, Sleman, DIY.

“So this has been accepted without anything lacking. Hopefully there will be no Covid-19, so there is no need to provide further assistance,” said Ida.

Director of Dowa Bag and Factory, Nina Widaryatun explained, the Covid-19 pandemic and the PPKM policy had a huge impact on the company. Even the company’s turnover had dropped by 90 percent.

Nina is also grateful and grateful to the government for issuing BSU in 2020 and 2021 as a mitigation of the impact of the pandemic.

“Alhamdulillah, it was very, very helpful because at that time the company could not pay the THR in full. During Eid we paid the THR in installments, now this BSU is very helpful, it means a lot as a substitute for the THR that has not been paid off earlier,” he said.
