Fans of compact computer systems have once again come to the attention of Gigabyte, as its engineers have prepared a very compact system that will easily run even more demanding content. It is a renewed family of personal computers of the Brix Extreme family, this time equipped with innovative 12th generation Intel processors. Mobile versions of the newcomers are available here, up to the 12th core Intel Core i7 processor.
The extremely powerful Gigabyte Brix Extreme is available in two versions, namely Tall and Slim. The Tall version is slightly larger, and can even be fitted with a Solid State drive or a 2.5-inch hard drive. There are even two HDMI 2.1 video interfaces available here. These can operate with up to four 8K screens and an average refresh rate of 60 hertz. The built-in Intel Iris Xe graphics card with 96 processor units adds the finishing touch.
Of course, the new Gigabyte Brix Extreme also offers a VESA interface, which means that it can be attached to the back of the screen. The novelty is, of course, very quiet in operation. At normal load, the novelty produces only 20 decibels of noise, while at full load, a miniature computer system produces up to 35 decibels of noise. The interesting Gigabyte Brix Extreme will be officially on sale in the second quarter of this year. The price is not yet known.
