Agency Connected presents to Belgrade listeners another in a series of larger events — a two-day no wave mini-festival, Punk Yardwhich will be held in Drugstore.
For the first edition of the festival in Belgrade, named after the underground movement of New York bands and artists, who sought to evoke the apocalyptic atmosphere of the “Big Apple” in the late seventies, Connected brought a bunch of bands from different parts of the world:
— Crack Cloud — Canadian no wave band made up of social activists and multimedia artists.
— Dion Lunadon — the power-pop solo project of the singer of the group The D4 and the bassist of the band A Place To Bury Strangers.
— GENTS — synth pop / new wave duo iz Danske.
— Dima Midborn — a jazz fusion band from Tel Aviv with sad pop ballads about the single life of a gentleman.
— Jazbollah — disaster jazz quintet from Belgrade, a combination of free improvisation and punk.
