Foreign media are increasingly suggesting that even the closest associates are no longer standing by Vladimir Putin. The head of the Kremlin also lost the favor of a part of the civilian population, after the announcement of mobilization, when many Russians tried massively to flee the country.

Is a coup in the air?

Recently, there is also speculation about a possible military coup. Russian journalists allegedly have documents at their disposal, according to which the Kremlin is actively preparing for such a scenario and is especially worried about foreign agents who can actively attack psychologically in Moscow. The portal informs about it TV material referring to The Insiderwho is supposed to have the mentioned documents.

According to the document, one of the methods of foreign agents is hypnosis, which Russian elites should be wary of. The enemy is said to be able to use the power of mass media, social networks and religious organizations against them.

The security guards of the Kremlin are supposed to prepare for a possible coup with weekly sessions with young members of the security guard. There is fear that the agents will fight even if they turn their own families against them. Putin himself is said to be preparing for a possible coup, having withdrawn his own elite units to Moscow. It is protected by 18,000 soldiers.

The question of further mobilization

Russia does not plan to announce another round of mobilization of the population to fight in Ukraine, the Kremlin said on Monday.

Asked about the next round of mobilization, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he “cannot speak for the Defense Ministry, but it is not being discussed in the Kremlin.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization of the Russian population in September. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced at the end of October that the mobilization in Russia had been completed, as 300,000 reservists were called up to the army in about a month based on the September decree.
