Microsoft has started testing the xCloud service in a web browser

Last year we informed you that Microsoft is working on the possibility of using the xCloud service via a web browser. This is to bypass the restrictions imposed by Apple.

As reported by the editors of The Verge, Microsoft has started internal tests of this solution. They are attended by the company’s employees. If everything goes as expected, the public test version should be released in spring. However, the official premiere is scheduled for this year.

It should be added that users of iOS and iPadOS devices will also be able to access the service via the Safari browser.
