Manchester City beat Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals 4-0 to qualify in the last leg. On June 10, in Istanbul, City and Inter Milan will play for the trophy.

After 1-1 in the round, Manchester City started the match at the Etihad furiously. Haaland had two dangerous headers (minutes 13 and 21), but Courtois intervened each time exceptionally.

Real Madrid’s Belgian goalkeeper was however beaten by Bernardo Silva in the 23rd minute: the Portuguese, launched into the box by Kevin de Bruyne, shot into the short corner, hopelessly for Courtois.

After a first half in which it did not matter, Real Madrid showed signs of life and Kroos hit the crossbar with a dashing shot (35).

In the 51st minute, Ederson, the goalkeeper of the English team, took out Alaba’s shot from under the bar. Haaland again had a great chance in the 72nd minute, but his shot was blocked by Courtois.

Manchester City made it 3-0 in the 76th minute after Militao’s own goal, and Alvarez scored in the 90th+1st minute to make it 4-0. The English team qualified in the last act with the overall score of 5-1.

On June 10, in Istanbul, Manchester City and Inter Milan will meet in the final of the Champions League.
