Luyuan Officially Partners with Davigo, Ready to Market Quality Electric Motorcycles

DAPURPACU – The presence of incentive subsidies from the Government for the purchase of electric motorbikes has generated high interest from new manufacturers who want to sell their products in Indonesia.

One of them comes from the Chinese alert electric motorcycle brand, Zhejiang Luyuan Vehicle, which is trying its luck in the Indonesian automotive market with its superior product range.

As one of the main electric motorcycle manufacturers, Luyuan has officially partnered with PT Davigo Artha Luas to make it their ‘new home’ to market their model line.

International Marketing Director of Zhejiang Luyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., Daniel Yu, said he was proud of the partnership with local partner Davigo Artha Luas.

According to Daniel, his party and Davigo will cooperate more deeply in bringing the products that are most in demand by Chinese consumers into the hands of the Indonesian people in the shortest possible time.

“So that we can all enjoy the conveniences provided by human-made technology,” said Daniel during the signing of the collaboration at the INAPA 2023 exhibition, JIExpo Kemayoran, Wednesday (24/5).

He explained, a series of scooter-type electric motorbikes were also brought along to be introduced to all visitors to the exhibition which officially opened today.

Daniel also claims that this product line has the potential to be commercialized in Indonesia. Among them, the MTB-R is equipped with a lithium battery with a capacity of 72V50Ah and a 3000 watt motor.

The electric motor offers strong performance and is suitable for adventure needs in challenging terrain, with a cruising range of up to tens of kilometers.

There is also the MKK2 type which is equipped with a graphene battery with a capacity of 72V23Ah, plus a 1000 watt motor. This motor provides reliable and efficient performance for daily mobility.

CEO of Davigo Artha Vast, Aryo Tejo Handoko admitted, Luyuan brought the latest technology embedded in the line of electric motorcycles, namely liquid-cooled motors and water cooling controllers.

This technology is claimed to be the first in the world and has been installed on the Luyuan electric motorcycle line. This technology is a sophisticated innovation designed to maintain optimal motor dynamo temperatures.

So that it is claimed to be able to prevent demagnetization due to excess heat which can reduce performance as well as the life of the motor dynamo.

“That way the reliability and longevity of the motor dynamo can be guaranteed. The liquid cooling technology which is insulin cooling can reduce the heat temperature on the dynamo by up to 30 percent,” he added.

“When operating, the temperature of the dynamo without cooling can reach 90 or even 100 degrees Celsius. This fluid is permanent, so there is no need for replacement,” said Aryo.

Another advantage is thanks to the use of air cooling technology on the controller, ensuring that the controller stays cool even after long-term use.

Daniel added, his participation in the 10th year that the INAPA exhibition was held was also the 26th anniversary of the founding of Luyuan. Even Luyuan claims that China is the founder of electric motorbikes.

“In the future, Luyuan electric motor products will be assembled in Indonesia in collaboration with Davigo, because we already have production facilities to pursue up to 40 percent local content,” he said.

For your information, Luyuan has built a solid foundation since its founding on July 3, 1997. During 25 years of continuous development, the company has grown into a large-scale operating group.

Its excellence and expertise in operations is demonstrated in the areas of research and development (R&D), manufacturing, sales and after-sales services.

Today, Luyuan has five assembly business units dedicated to producing quality electric motorcycles. Proven through a strong distribution network, with more than 11,000 dealers spread throughout China.

In addition, Luyuan products have penetrated into more than 80 countries around the world, making it one of the main exporters of electric vehicles.

With this extraordinary achievement, the cumulative sales volume of liquid-cooled motor electric vehicles globally has exceeded 6 million units. [dp/TH]
