Longer RAY5 10W and 20W laser engravers

The LONGER RAY5 20W offers a generous working area of ​​375 x 375 mm, slightly smaller than the other versions, which are 400 x 400 mm. Still, both are suitable for jobs of considerable dimensions. The structure has dimensions of 610 x 67 x 200 mm.

It is equipped with Dioser Technology laser technology and has a precision of 0.08 x 0.10 mm, with a fixed focal point of 47mm. This precision makes engraving and cutting much clearer and without marks. The 10W model has an accuracy of 0.06 x 0.06 mm.

In addition to recording in countless possibilities of materials, the manufacturer mentions more than 1000, the machine still allows the precise cutting of, among others, leather, cardboard, acrylic, paper, wood, filter. Wood and acrylic, for example, can be cut with a thickness of up to 20mm.

The firmware that equips this recorder has an optimized movement algorithm, allowing the maximum speed to go from the usual 4000mm/min to 10000mm/min. It is fully compatible with the most popular laser engraving control software, such as the free and open-source LaserGRBL or LightBurn, supporting connections to Windows, macOS and Linux, in JPG, PNG, BMP, G-code, GIF, SVG, NC, GC, among others.

Of note is the fact that the 20W model cuts wood up to 15 mm and acrylic up to 8 mm and even stainless steel up to 0.05 mm. The 10W model cuts wood up to 20mm and acrylic up to 30mm.

Whether due to the machine shifting or tilting, computer jamming or inadvertently stalling the motors, the engraver will stop immediately to prevent possible damage. It is also capable of detecting flames, where it will sound the alarm, and has an emergency button, available whenever necessary.

Printing and cutting can be controlled via App, via Wi-Fi, which greatly speeds up the whole process, being able, for example, to photograph an element and laser print it almost immediately and without constraints.

The new Longer Laser B1 has arrived

The Longer Laser B1 is a new proposal that has just hit the market, with a 33W laser, which allows precise cutting of wood up to 25 mm and black acrylic up to 50 mm.

The working area is quite generous, measuring 450 x 440mm and it has an engraving speed of 36mm/minute, which turns out to be faster than many other proposals on the market. Still in terms of engraving, it allows, in metal, engraving with different colors, which guarantees exclusivity in the works.

It also integrates an air assistance pump that can be switched on/off automatically. This is directly controlled by lightburn, based on the parameters set in the program, which greatly increases the cutting capacity and also significantly improves the precision and quality of the cut.

The Longer Laser B1 even has additional protection to avoid accidents. For example, it immediately stops working with changes in the position of the printer, in any direction, or in case of fire, with a small flame.

It can be controlled via app or directly from a computer, with any operating system, also supporting most image formats.
