Linux operating system reminiscent of iPadOS

The JingOS Linux operating system has impressed many so far!

Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system is gaining in popularity due to a number of improvements, both among desktop and laptop users and other devices. Nevertheless, a lot is also happening in the field of the open source Linux operating system. This was recently seen with the introduction of a special distribution of the Linux operating system, which sounds like JingOS, as its graphical interface is very similar to the one we are used to with Apple’s iPadOS mobile operating system.

The JingOS operating system is based on the established open source Ubuntu 20.04 system and the KDE v5.75 and Plasma Mobile 5.20 graphical interfaces. The latter will soon be replaced by the Jing Desktop Environment graphical interface, which will be ready for personal computers before the end of January this year. The new JingOS operating system is currently compatible with the aforementioned number of mobile devices (Huawei MateBook 14 and Microsoft Surface Pro 6). It will soon be possible to install the novelty on other mobile devices.

The first public version of the JingOS operating system will be available for download at the end of January this year, online https://www.jingos.com/download/. This will be version 0.6, which should be stable enough for everyday use. The first full version of the new JingOS (1.0) operating system can be expected at the end of June, in conjunction with the JingPad C1 mobile device, which will be based on the ARM processor.
