Light Field Lab presents its amazing holograms

Light Field Lab has just unveiled a new holographic display technology called SolidLight.

It is impossible not to make the connection with the holograms of science fiction films like Star Wars or Star Trek. The technology proposed by Light Field Lab thus makes it possible to display three-dimensional images giving the impression of floating in the air.

All the technology deployed relies on the manipulation of wavelengths. The light is thus diffused by a 28-inch panel made up of 2.5 billion pixels which are each capable of delivering precise shades of colors unlike traditional RGB.

The advantage of this technology compared to others already available is that the 3D aspect of the hologram is done regardless of the user’s viewing angle.

Light Field lab already claims the highest definition holograms available on the market and plans to go further with screens of 245 billion pixels to increase display area and accuracy.
