The four-year-old son of the Serbian attacker Andrija Kaludjerovic was struck by electricity from a neighbor’s fence, while he was playing with his grandmother in the village, reports the Objektiv portal.
The boy was transferred to the hospital in a serious condition two days ago, and the doctors are trying to save his injured hand with which he caught the wire under the current voltage.
The toddler was with his grandmother in the village, where the accident happened, writes Alo.
Kaludjerovic was linked to his return to Rad two days ago, but said it all depended on his son being injured.
– Unfortunately, a couple of days ago I had an accident with my son. He is seriously injured and a serious recovery awaits him. My next steps in my career depend exclusively on that. If he cannot travel abroad with me, I will not return to Lithuania, but I will stay with him in Serbia – said Kaludjerovic without revealing the details of the accident.
The boy was allegedly left unattended for a few minutes, and due to a strong electric shock, he lost consciousness.
– Luka’s grandmother was only a few meters away from her grandson, but she did not manage to save him from the electricity. She had no idea that her neighbor had activated the voltage or that there was any risk to a child playing in the countryside. At one point she was playing with her grandson, and at another she saw him on the ground. When she realized what had happened, it was already too late. The whole village heard her screams – states an anonymous source and adds that the boy was transported to the hospital in a very bad condition.
– According to the latest information, doctors are still fighting for Luka’s life. The family is desperate and everyone is praying to God to save their only child! They have no strength to blame anyone. They are crying and sobbing, hoping that the agony they are going through will soon be over – said an acquaintance of the Kaludjerovic family.
