LG’s new OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell Tvs steal the show at CES 2021!

THE LG Electronics (LG) sets the standards again in the TV market, with its most impressive premium line that includes the YOU ARE, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell TVs. For 2021, LG ‘s leading TV series, with a model that stood out as Best of Innovation CES® 2021 (model 48C1) as well as with other models they have received honorary innovation awards, has been upgraded internally and externally with new technologies and features such as the new OLED panel but also a new advanced LCD panel structure that combines Quantum NanoCell color technology with mini LED backlight for improved color accuracy and greater contrast. In addition, the new series features an upgraded AI processor, the redesigned webOS, and one amazing updated look for 2021.

The recent one LG smart processor, α (Alpha) 9 Gen 4 AI, upgrades the performance of the latest models of the LG OLED series such as the Z1, G1 and C1, the models LG QNED Mini LED TV QNED99 and QNED95 as well as the models LG NanoCell NANO99 and NANO95. The processor utilizes deep learning to enhance the upgrade, making content of any quality display perfectly on large self-illuminated screens. The LG processor has AI Picture Pro, which recognizes objects on the screen, such as faces and bodies, and separates the foreground from the background, while processing each object separately to make the images more three-dimensional. With its ability to detect the type of content, the α9 Gen 4 processor further optimizes image quality, amount of light and ambient conditions regardless of the viewing area. In addition, the processor incorporates a new version of it LG AI Sound Pro, which has two major additions for 2021. Virtual surround 5.1.2 offers an incredibly immersive audio experience through the built-in TV speakers, while Auto Volume ensures a consistent level of volume when switching between channels or streaming applications, bringing the solution to a problem that preoccupied viewers for a long time.

LG’s new OLED TVs offer an extremely intuitive user experience thanks to the updated Smart Tv platform, webOS 6.0. With a completely redesigned Home screen, as well as performance and functionality improvements, webOS 6.0 provides faster access to applications and easier content finding with even more personalized suggestions. LG has also expanded the number of TV models that will support HDMI 2.1 capabilities in 2021, with enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and automatic low latency (ALLM) operation throughout the range. LG QNED90 Mini LED, NANO90 and NANO85 TVs will also support variable refresh rate (VRR) for a great gaming experience.

In terms of responsible construction, LG has a very good history with OLED TVs. The panels used in the 2021 TV OLED series have certified by the Swiss-based Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) that they have minimal environmental impact, emit negligible air pollutants, use less hazardous substances and are highly recyclable. According to SGS evaluation results, LG OLED panels reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by more than 50 percent compared to LCD TV panels of the same size. LG OLED TVs are also relaxing for the eyes, without compromising image quality. In addition to recognition by TÜV Rheinland for low blue radiation and certification for flicker-free operation by Underwriters Laboratories, LG OLED TVs utilize the world’s first Eyesafe certified TV panels that meet the criteria for low blue radiation Eyesafe, a US-based health standards service. Tests have shown that LG OLED TVs emit about 50% less blue radiation than similar high-quality LCD screens. Designed to perfectly match the new OLED TV models, LG’s latest speakers are another proof of the company’s environmental awareness in terms of construction. The exterior of the soundbars is made of recycled material, while the packaging is designed to protect the product without the use of styrofoam.
