LG is expanding its range of smart kitchen appliances in the US. What is special is that customers can use the new ThinQ Recipe app and service to create thousands of recipes order at Walmart or Amazon Fresh department store.
For the LG ThinQ Recipe app, the Koreans work together with SideChef, which can place 10,000 recipes on a shopping list in the app.
The app also includes the Scan and Cook feature developed by Boston-based Foodspace Technology. Scanning a barcode on (some) frozen and ready meals automatically sends cooking instructions to compatible LG ThinQ ovens.
The new equipment will be shown next week at CES in Las Vegas.
