Lev’s electric shared cars are leaving Rotterdam. According to founder Ytzen Zijlstra, the lockdown lasts too long, so that little or no use is made of it.
Lev’s small cars have been in the city since July 2019. They are 1.74 long and 1.03 meters wide and therefore fit transversely in a parking space. Now that Rotterdammers travel little due to the corona crisis, the company unfortunately has to stop. They do not yet know what will happen to the 150 carts.
The Municipality of Rotterdam is committed to sharing means of transport. The aim is that by 2030 about five percent of all cars in the city will be shared cars.
