The new Samsung flagships are getting closer and closer. We recently saw renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Now a dummy model of the smartphone has also been leaked.

Read on after the ad.

Dummy Galaxy S22 Ultra looks like leaked renders

The rumor mill around the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is steadily spinning. goodies xleaks7 on CoverPigtou have jointly leaked images of a dummy model of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The dummy matches renders we saw recently.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a design that is very similar to the design of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The round shapes that we are used to from Samsung’s S series have disappeared. The Galaxy S22 Ultra gets pointed corners and – yes – a built-in S Pen. The Ultra variant will be the only S22 model to embrace this new design language; the S22 and the S22 Plus retain the round shapes we are used to.

The Note-like design of an S smartphone seems to confirm the rumor that the Galaxy Note series is officially coming to an end. The Note smartphones have given way to the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip smartphones. Fortunately, fans of the Note series do not have to worry: the Note lives on under a different name. With an S Pen and the angular design, the Galaxy S22 Ultra feels completely like a Note.

In addition to the angular design, we also see the P-shaped camera island from the leaked renders on the dummy. A lot of people expressed their negative opinion about this design online. It seems that Samsung will also opt for the design.

More about the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the best and most expensive device from the S22 series. There are also the ‘normal’ Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22 Plus. Samsung will probably announce the phones in February.

According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra can charge with a maximum of 45 Watts. With 5000 mAH, the battery would be slightly larger than that of its predecessor. Furthermore, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly again have a 108 megapixel camera. It would be an improved version.
