“I have a lot of work to do, it’s not family matters that take up my time. I have a lot of disgraceful tasks. Unworthy people give unworthy tasks. I am a 63-year-old old man with no criminal record and have not been punished in any court in the world. Up to speeding or no parking ” – this is how László Bige, the financier of the Gyurcsány-Márki-Zay left, lamented, who enjoyed the sacrificial pose during the almost one-hour, otherwise extremely common propaganda interview. – read in the article of Origó.
“There’s nothing interesting about this”
When László Juszt, a well-known left-wing television player who flattered Bigé all along, asked him why he still got on the dock, the left-wing billionaire tried to ironize, claiming that because “we stole our own wallet ”. Bige was remarkably tense from the first second of the broadcast. No wonder, because, contrary to what he claims, he is not accused of harming himself, but of Hungarian farmers. Your companies have carteled with this Causing HUF 36 billion in damage for small producers.
Bige is famous for boasting about her wealth, and that’s how it is now. In connection with his first case, he claimed that the person reporting it had been paid for by someone or someone for 100-150 million forints, and the presenter called it “nice money,” to which the businessman laughed and said, “yes, it is already visible to the naked eye ”.
Bige lied during the broadcast, she didn’t try to face reality for a moment, and László Juszt left it to her, she didn’t try to ask any real questions.
He tried to defend himself so that some authorities could take him to court at any time, and then, incoherently, added that the game was going to get his property, his factories.
The billionaire, who called himself the king of fertilizers, did not tell the truth that he did not receive a single forint of state support from the state before 2010. As Origó has repeatedly reported about it, Bige infiltrated the top circles of the left-wing government so much that after taking out an IMF loan, his business received more than ten billion forints in loans from the Gyurcsány government. At a time when the vast majority of Hungarians have been reduced in pay as a result of brutal government austerity measures, and many have taken to the streets.
“If we don’t just take here what these clowns are writing now, we’ve got credit.” he added irritably, then lied that they had only been given credit on very strict terms. This is not specifically true, as the then left-wing government did not impose any conditions on its use, and its company did not even have to provide a guarantee in exchange for the money. – read in the article of Origó.
Terribly big lies
He also defended pathetically in connection with his second criminal case, saying that the prosecutor’s office was asking him to do so as if he were interested in a pig’s slaughter where the blood of the slaughtered pig (the analogy intended to be witty) was quite suta, for a real pig slaughter.
Bige dodged to the GVH fine of HUF 11 billion also what he called a non-existent matter. “It came from the moon, it came from the non-existent moon ” He declared confused. As is known, tIn October, the Hungarian Competition Authority uncovered a collusion and cartel affecting the entire domestic fertilizer market, which covered the period between the summer of 2009 and 2016. In the fall of 2017, a competition investigation was launched against 11 companies. Eight of them received fines, which together amounted to a record amount of HUF 14.1 billion. The agency found most of the six companies in which Bige had an interest in the cartel, as it found that they had organized the cartel, according to an article in Origo.
bige he has not paid the fine since, and in his internet show, László Juszt called the events a fairy tale with noble simplicity. It is a question of what the farmers who have been harmed by the unscrupulous maneuver think about this.
At the end of the conversation, the billionaire talked about the proceedings against him being managed from above. “Someone will allow this,” the oligarch declared without any specifics, adding that someone had instructed the interior minister when three hundred policemen got out of one of his factories. By this, Bige was aiming to prosecute him because he stood by the left. But this is not exactly true, because
the unscrupulous billionaire only started funding Márki-Zay after the proceedings began, precisely because he hoped to avoid prosecution from him and Gyurcsány. Moreover, in the first interview after the start of the process, he even tried to make an “offer” to the prime minister that he would not fund the left if left to run. Of course, no one dealt with the offer.
Looks like Bige is so afraid of being held accountable that she doesn’t shy away from the harshest lies.
What criminal cases have been brought against Bige?
Last October, László Bige and five employees of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County General Prosecutor’s Office were charged with unfaithful treatment and bribery causing property damage of HUF 2 billion. According to the accusation, the contractor’s company was damaged by two billion forints, while the leader also received more than 700 million forints in bribes. The prosecutor’s office earlier
he ordered criminal oversight of the case, so Bige had to wear a tracker for months and could only leave his house with permission.
The authorities take the view that two subsidiaries of the Fertilizer King Group have been involved in the crime, a company that produces and sells products used in crop production.
Goods were regularly produced during production that did not meet the manufacturer’s specifications, but could still be used in other areas of crop production. These were devalued on Bige’s instructions, but so much so that it didn’t even reach the cost price. These were then purchased by companies designated by the contractor, which at the same time sold them to end users for a higher amount as if they were not defective.
Between 2011 and 2016, the managers of the designated companies distributed a significant amount of HUF 764 million from the “profits” thus received to Bigé.
The prosecutor’s office asked Bigere to serve a prison sentence and requested that the proceedings be joined with the ongoing criminal lawsuit against the contractor in the Nyíregyháza Tribunal, which was also filed for bribery, in which the contractor illegally earned 135 million – read in the article of Origó.
He finances the left
As can be seen from the above, the red baron has found himself in a rather difficult situation, wanting to avoid prosecution by financially supporting the left, namely Ferenc Gyurcsány’s candidate, Péter Márki-Zay.
So far he supported the campaign of the left with at least sixty-five million forints. It turned out that Márki-Zay revealed that László Bige had already paid his HUF 5 million bill. He thinks this method is completely legal.
As Origo reported, last December in a luxury restaurant in Márki-Zay and Bige, with half a million forints of wine, the businessman presumably paid the bill.
