Prague – The Czech Post last year transported a record 56 million parcels, which is four million more than in the previous year. In 2019 before the coronavirus pandemic, there were over 41 million parcels. Post spokesman Matyáš Vitík told ČTK.

The Czech Post is a state-owned enterprise. It operates 3,200 branches and employs around 27,000 people.
