Las Vegas: Attack on bus passenger with 33 knives

A horrifying video has surfaced of a bus passenger stabbing a fellow passenger 33 times in Las Vegas. At the same time, the reaction of the bus driver, who did not react to the attack while hearing the victim shouting that he wants to open the door, is shocking.

The four minutes of terror

Aaron Cole, 59, was charged with the brutal murder of 30-year-old Dominic Lucas on February 26 after an argument on the bus. The trial was told the murderous attack, which involved a total of 33 blows, lasted a total of four minutes.

That’s when the bus driver activated a “panic button” to call for help while the attacker proceeded to stab the victim again.

The unfortunate 30-year-old died from the injuries caused by the 59-year-old’s knife. As for the driver, he claimed that he kept the bus doors closed for the safety of the other passengers.

“The first priority is your own safety, so I had to make sure I was safe to continue driving the bus” the driver of the vehicle justified his reaction.

According to the New York Post, the 59-year-old attacker had been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon ten days before the incident on the bus. He was then released with the judge ruling that he “does not pose a significant risk”.

It is noted that in 1994 Cole was arrested for second-degree murder after shooting a man in Texas and had remained in prison for 23 years until he was released in 2017.
