Lamborghini is preparing the Huracan for dusty roads

Rumors about Lamborghini’s off-road model have been confirmed by official footage of the special Huracan. For now, there is no confirmation that there will be serial production, but it has been shown that the car with increased ground clearance can easily overcome dusty and gravel roads.

The images were accompanied by the short caption “away from concrete”, which suggests that the vehicle is usable outside of perfectly flat and hard roads. The premiere is expected during this year. Lamborghini is planning two new Huracan variants and two Urus.

It would not be surprising if the new Huracan gets the Sterrato addition in the name, based on the concept of the same name from November 2021. It is the Italian word for dirt roads and refers to the car’s usability outside of concrete and asphalt paths and roads.

More and more supercar buyers want vehicles that they can use all year round, as well as not being afraid of “ordinary” potholes on the roads. That’s why Porsche made a raised version of the 911, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if other manufacturers of exclusive cars did the same.
