Lamborghini comes from an amazing 2021 in which it recorded crazy numbers in terms of sales, and 2022 promises to be just as challenging: in fact 4 modelsamong which we find two different models of Huracan, the Huracan Tecnica and the Dirt Huracan; after having been able to spy on the Dirt road, albeit covered by camouflage to hide its definitive line, today we have the first unofficial images that reveal the model ready for production.
Compared to the images seen previously, the LED bar positioned on the roof of the car has disappeared, and so splitter integrated in the lower part of the front bumper has been redesigned in its final form. The first images in the form of concept date back to 2019and now finally the Huracan Sterrato seems ready to give life to the new course of off-road supercarthanks to a raised stance and a more aggressive style.
The new Huracan Sterrato will be powered by a 5.2 liter V10, of which we do not yet know the definitive power; undoubtedly the Sterrato will be equipped with a all-wheel drive system to improve performance where grip is reduced.
Among the details that help to make the car more suitable for off-road use there are undoubtedly the protections on the 4 wheel arches: in the forklift version we have seen them of one type, while now they have been redesigned and fixed with screws left exposed, for a style more typical for an off-road vehicle. It is difficult to understand now what the definitive version will be, but we have no doubts that this particular version of the Huracan will be capable of enjoying good success. The edition will be limitedalso because in the plans of the company there is the intention to stop the production of the Huracan already in 2024.
Lamborghini is just one of the companies that has decided to transform a sports car into an off-road model: Porsche will release a raised 911 model already this year, and equally both Audi and Volkswagen are engaging in rally and navigation races.
The price of the Huracan Sterrato has not yet been revealed, but we expect a figure of around 240,000 euros.
