Lachplesis is in a hurry to finally privatize the rest of the Central Market 2

Today, on January 14, at the next meeting of the Daugavpils City Council, the issue of holding an auction for the sale of a land plot on the territory of the city market, which is located at the address: st. Cyetokshnya, 60C.

The land plot with a total area of ​​343 square meters (cadastral number 05000010145) is currently owned by the municipality, however, earlier in 2009 it was leased, according to the concluded agreement, to SIA Ditton Nams – until May 27, 2058. The land is located next to the covered aisles of the peasant market, which are now operated and rented by traders of vegetables, fruits and other goods.

The starting price set by the Duma at the auction is 9,000 euros. The winner of the auction will need to make an advance payment of 10% of the highest bid at the auction within two weeks after the auction. The entire amount for the object must be paid no later than six months later.

The date of the auction will be announced if the decision on its holding is approved by the majority of the local government deputies at a meeting of the city council.

We will remind that in November last year at a meeting of the City Planning Commission of the Daugavpils City Council was presented a project for the reconstruction of the central city market and the Ditton shopping center.

It is noteworthy that the first vice mayor is responsible for the alienation of city property. Janis Lachplesis (Latgale Party), which at the moment has already considered the applications of SIA Ditton Nams and agreed on the alienation of city property.
