Bangladesh Krishak League, the largest subsidiary organization of Awami League, was formed by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on April 19, 1972. The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established the Krishak League for the development of the country’s agriculture and to protect the interests of the farmers. The current organizational head Hon’ble Prime Minister Krishak Ratna Jannetri Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for the purpose of building a smart Bangladesh and for the welfare of farmers. His leadership will play a leading role in building Smart Bangladesh and the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections.
