KPN has its long-awaited price increase announced for its internet subscriptions. As expected, the company remains below the increase of its biggest competitor Ziggo. This concerns an inflation correction of 6.4 percent, with a maximum increase of 4 or 3 euros per month.
The price increases apply to customers who have taken out a subscription before April 1, 2023. Extras such as ESPN Complete, the Recording Package or KPN Veilig remain unaffected, as does the most expensive Giga subscription of subsidiary XS4ALL.
Earlier this year, KPN lowered the prices of some packages, so that the increase is not too bad for some users.
Ziggo, on the other hand, increases prices as of July 1, sometimes by 6 to 7 euros per month. This led to a wave of indignant reactions.
According to KPN, customers are not entitled to early termination of the contract free of charge according to the company’s general terms and conditions.
