Changeover Festival 2023 is a four-day multi-genre music festival with over 50 performers representing the new European music scene.

The second edition of the Changeover festival will take place from October 11 to 14 in various locations in the heart of Belgrade, including clubs, cultural centers, a church, a former factory area, and famous places such as Home of the Youth, DIM, Drugstore, KC city i governance.

At the previous edition of the Changeover festival, part of the new European music scene was presented, with performances by Bendik Giske (NO), Opus Kink (UK), Marina Herlop (ES), Šiksa (PL), Dollkraut (NL) and many other performers. At the conference part of the festival, experts discussed the impact of the pandemic on small clubs and concert venues, the contribution of nightlife and the basic principles of modern musicians. The first edition of the Changeover festival attracted over 2,500 visitors.

This year the format of the festival is changing: the main focus will be on curatorial programs designed by experts and musicians from Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Great Britain and other countries. The selection of curators this year will bring a new dimension and variety to the music profile of the festival.

With over 50 performers and 30 delegates, the festival will show visitors the innovative work of both well-known and up-and-coming musicians from all over Europe. These musical pioneers will present their experimental projects covering various genres in the company of some of the leading contemporary artists. Experts from the music industry, including journalists, owners of clubs and publishing houses, festival organizers and others, will have the opportunity to participate in open discussions on contemporary topics from the world of music.

Some of the first announced performers are Giant Swanan electronic duo from Bristol; Horse Lordsa promising novelty on the art rock scene of Baltimore; Soyuza cult hip-hop group from Minsk, producer and vocalist of Swiss-Nepali origin Aisha Devia psych-surf instrumental group from London – Japanese Televisiona rookie rapper from Azerbaijan – The horse and dozens of other bands from various cities with different genres that are impossible to list all in one paragraph.
