King Charles III and the cause of Romania

The reception of King Charles III in Cotroceni is a good opportunity to ask if the Queen of Romania would have been in the place of President Klaus Iohannis, what was the atmosphere of this event.

Although no one thought that a visit of the King of England to Romania would take place in the coming years, it happened miraculously in such a short time after His enthronement on May 6.

King Charles III is one of the great scepter holders who, through his special relationship with Romania, could inspire a certain national dynamic that the US systematically misses.

The speech of Klaus Iohannis, at the reception in Cotroceni, correct and only in some places according to the moment, was still that of a communist school inspector to a meritorious first secretary.

I don’t think it was easy for King Charles III to listen to the president’s long excursion in a circumstance that was neither the awarding of the Nobel Prize nor Romania’s accession to the Commonwealth.

If the Queen of Romania had been in place of President Iohannis, the whole reception would have lacked the punctuality of the known political education and the Romanians would have been given a minimal horizon of hope, as a result of this significant private visit.

It is sad that after such a bitter time, Romania has not yet found its voice and the current form of government is unable, following the falsity of 1947, to emerge from the official lies.

Through the current political formula, it is clear that Romanians are forced to move away from the ideals of getting out of totalitarianism and dictatorship.

Pertinently, King Charles III himself pointed out this fact, in passing, with reference to the guilt of the allies.
