Jorge Jesus says he is studying “various proposals” but refuses to talk about clubs

Portuguese football coach Jorge Jesus said today that he “is studying several proposals” for his return to work, but refused to directly address the name of any club.

“I have seen Flamengo games and all Brazilian football. Let’s see the future, I’m studying several proposals, but I have time to think about it”, said the technician upon arrival in Brazil, where he traveled “as a tourist” to attend an event.

Jorge Jesus, who left Benfica in December 2021, confirmed that he had a meeting with the president of Turkish Fenerbahçe in Portugal, refusing to indicate other interested parties.

“There is no Brazilian club. It is true [a foto com o presidente do Fenerbahçe]in Portugal, but I’m not talking about clubs”, he stressed.

The 67-year-old coach has been without a club since he left Benfica, being replaced by Nélson Veríssimo, in what was his second spell in charge of the ‘incarnates’.
