These days, the Social Insurance Agency (SP) is sending notifications to self-employed persons and other self-employed persons (SZČO) about the new premium amount in connection with the change in the minimum and maximum assessment base from 1 January 2022.

Self-employed persons will receive a total of 174,327 notifications either by letter or electronically if they have an e-mail box set up. Jana Hrabková from the SP communication department informed about it.

Don’t forget standing orders

“As of January 1 this year, the new premium amount applies to 173,867 SZČO, which changes the minimum assessment base, and another 288 SZČO have to adjust payments to change the maximum assessment base,” appointed Hrabková, stating that both groups of policyholders are obliged to pay premiums in a new amount by 8 February 2022.

At the same time, the Social Insurance Agency recommends that they do not forget to adjust their payment order at the bank in time.

It represents a new minimum premium for SZČO with a minimum assessment base 187.78 euros per month (in 2020 it was 180.99 euros). SZČO with the maximum assessment base will pay premiums in the amount of 2629.12 euros per month (last year it was 2533.98 euros).

Notifications of the new amount of insurance premiums are also sent by SZČO with the suspended performance of the activity, so that after the termination of the suspension of the activity, they know the amount to be paid by the levies.
