It’s official: that’s when Motorola’s latest folding mobile phones will debut

The CEO of Lenovo, which owns Motorola, confirmed back in March that we will get new folding mobile phones from the brand this year, and since then, rumors about the devices have appeared one after another. Motorola is expected to deliver two new models right away, which will be called Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40.

Until now, it was only possible to guess when the successors of Razr 2022, launched last summer, will be unveiled, but now we have official information about the date of the big day.

Motorola announced on Twitter that the debut is due on June 1, for which we also received a short teaser video. Unfortunately, the material basically doesn’t reveal anything about the new phones, but it seems to support the fact that we are indeed getting two mobile phones, as it forms the manufacturer’s logo from two half-folded devices.

There is less than a month left until the unveiling of the new Razr series. If the leaks so far are to be believed, the Razr 40 Ultra will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage, and its external display will be 3.5 inches. Unfortunately, we have little information about the basic Razor 40, even at the level of rumors, but it is likely that the cheaper model will have a slightly smaller external panel.

What is also worth mentioning is that, based on expectations, both phones will support a so-called “Flex” mode, in which we can use the camera in a half-folded state. So that’s all for now, but it might be worth keeping an eye on the leaks for the upcoming release, since that’s when the rumor train really gets started.
