It’s a photographic beast, not a smartphone. vivo 90 Pro+ officially

vivo X90 Pro+ has probably the highest specification in the world.

In Poland, the vivo X80 line debuted only in the summer, and the Chinese can already run to the stores for the next generation. And there is much to admire.

vivo X90 Pro+ has a camera with powerful parameters. The 1-inch matrix is just the beginning

1-inch matrices are just beginning to hit the thatches. vivo X90 Pro + is one of the first smartphones of this type, and in addition, the manufacturer has added a lot of improvements beyond the size of the matrix.

On the rear panel there are:

  • main camera 50.3 Mpix (1 inch) with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization;
  • 48 Mpix (1/2 inch) camera with f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and macro mode;
  • 50 Mpix camera (1/2.4 inches) with a 2x telephoto lens with f/1.6 brightness and optical image stabilization;
  • 64 Mpix (1/2 inch) camera with a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with f / 3.5 brightness and optical image stabilization.

vivo boasts that the glass lens of the main camera has been coated with an anti-reflective Zeiss T* coating and boasts a record 81.6 on the Abbe scale. This parameter determines the transparency of the material, and thus the amount of undisturbed light that reaches the matrix.

The 1-inch IMX989 sensor used in vivo X90 Pro+ is composed of individual pixels with a size of 1.6 micrometers. In pixel merging mode, their size increases to as much as 3.2 micrometers.

All other cameras also have relatively large high-resolution sensors. The periscope telephoto lens generates a 3.5x optical zoom in relation to the main camera, but thanks to 64 Mpix, the quality of the hybrid zoom is to be above average.

The 2x zoom camera with a wide aperture is great for taking quality portraits, and the ultra wide-angle lens has very low distortion.

The vivo X90 Pro+ uses the proprietary vivo V2 image processor, whose high computing power is to ensure the effective operation of algorithms that improve photos and videos. The smartphone can handle 14-bit RAW photos and shoot 8K movies at 30 fps, Dolby Vision and LOG.

The front camera also has a high resolution – 32 Mpix.

vivo X90 Pro+ has a high specification

The manufacturer has refined not only the camera, but also other technical parameters. Suffice it to mention the presence of the still fresh Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, super-fast UFS 4.0 memory and a new type of LTPO4 screen with a variable refresh rate.

  • 256 or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage for data;
  • connectivity 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3;
  • ultrasonic fingerprint reader in the screen;
  • 4700mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging;
  • dimensions 164.4 x 75.3 x 9.7mm;

Only the loading speed is far from the record. vivo X90 Pro + is to be fully charged in 33 minutes, so more than three times longer than Redmi 12 Pro +.

vivo X90 Pro+: prices and availability

So far, the premiere took place only in China, where the 12/256 GB version was priced at 6,499 yuan, or the equivalent of PLN 4,170. With us, it would probably be 6-7 thousand. zloty.

Unfortunately, vivo introduces its smartphones to Poland quite selectively, so it’s hard to predict whether vivo X90 Pro + will appear with us. If so, it is unlikely to happen until early next year.
