Şüheda İbrahimağaoğlu, the founder of Şüsü Collection brand from Trabzon, continues her business life with Trendyol, which she started with a limited budget with a few products in one room of her house. Şüheda says that she is happy to reach her goal by stating that she sells her products not only in the country but also abroad.

Stating that she loves to stand on her own feet as a female entrepreneur, İbrahimağaoğlu said, “At the same time, I am a mother, a wife and a woman who stands on her own feet as a female entrepreneur. As a woman, I have always embraced standing on my own two feet. My adventure actually dates back to my university years. My first venture was when I was a university student, by opening a small boutique page on Instagram. In my journey that I started with a couple of products, I made my sales by first expanding into Turkey and then abroad. I took a break from this journey due to my education. I met Trendyol after I got married. I saw that they provided support to women entrepreneurs in advertisements. My wife and I thought why not. Actually, I was going to start getting active again on Instagram, but I needed a ready audience to maintain continuity. Trendyol would provide this to me in the best way. In this way, we had a business initiation process. At first, I started with a few products in a very small part of my room with a very limited budget. There is so much product variety that it can’t even fit in an empty room at the moment. We are in the process of preparing the store and I hope we will open our store in a month and a half. There is a great effort in the background of all of these, and the effort he gave us and the opportunities he provided are very, very important,” he said.

“I DON’T KNOW I CAN GROW THAT MUCH”

Noting that he did not anticipate that he would grow this much in his business, İbrahimağaoğlu said, “I thought I could get somewhere, but I couldn’t predict that I could grow that fast. Most importantly, customer satisfaction, which is our goal, has brought us to a very, very good place. Our priority has never been just to sell. We have always worked to offer quality products to our customers. When a customer ordered two, three or four from us, we thought, yes, we can really do this. When starting this business, people think that they need a lot of money and they cannot do it. I can definitely say that it is not, and we started with a very low budget. Over time, that budget doubles. That’s why I advise those who want to do this job, even if their budget and opportunities are limited. Every time they reach a goal, they set bigger goals for themselves and move forward. I started this business with my little baby without a helper and progressed in this way. Sometimes I woke up at night and answered the questions of my customers, sometimes I prepared the cargo while my baby was sleeping. This job is not without effort, as long as everyone who wants to follow their dreams behind their goals. I reached my goal of opening a store. Now I have a bigger goal. My primary goal is to open larger stores in a more central location and employ more women.” he said.

“I SAW IT REALLY DIFFICULT TO REACH SOMEWHERE ON INSTAGRAM”

İbrahimağaoğlu, who has experienced that it is not easy to reach somewhere on Instagram, said, “When we look at the ready-made clothing industry and its current position, I saw that it is very difficult to reach somewhere on Instagram. Trendyol has really provided me with great opportunities in this sense. Our store is open day and night. I just follow the incoming orders, check the stocks and present the new products to my customers. In this sense, Trendyol has really helped us to get to this point,” he said.

“OUR TARGET IS TO GROW OUR FAMILY OF SELLERS IN TRABZON”

Trendyol Group President Çağlayan Çetin said that their goal is to further enlarge the dealer family in Trabzon. Çetin said, “We had contacts with our Mayor, Governor, President of the Union of Chambers, President of the Chamber of Industry and the President of the Women Entrepreneurs Association in Trabzon. We have a big investment in Trabzon. We are establishing the Black Sea’s largest separation center here. Hopefully, we will come back to our beautiful Trabzon to open it in June. As of today, we have around 1500 dealers in Trabzon. Our goal is to further enlarge our dealer family in Trabzon. As of now, around 75-100 new SMEs and tradesmen are joining us every month. Our growth is proportional to the growth of the trade volume in Turkey’s 81 provinces. Our aim here is to increase e-commerce in Turkey. Therefore, Trabzon is also an important center for us. I hope we will come to Trabzon more often from now on, everyone will see our investments in Trabzon’s economy more,” he said.
