“It continues to present a “black” Greece”

The press representative of New Democracy, Akis Skertsos, made statements regarding the interview of Alexis Tsipras to Star and journalist Mara Zachareas, and accused him of still presenting a “black” Greece.

The announcement states the following: Mr. Tsipras, in his first interview after his electoral defeat, insisted on reading reality with the same distorting lenses. It still presents a “black” Greece. The only conclusion he has reached is that the positions of SYRIZA were correct but they were wrongly communicated.

It is not the fault of what he said, but the way the SYRIZA executives said it. So the “wish lists” in the leadership that will come out in the media, will solve the problem. He perpetuates the same lies, from the supposed 700,000 auctions, to freelancers going without healthcare, when he knows that’s not the case.

The problem of SYRIZA is firstly its ideas and the lack of documentation for their implementation, and then the style and the persons who communicate them. He chose to deal only with the second proving how far he is from the problems of society. For Mr. Tsipras it is still “crooked”. And harmonize exactly the same way. Nothing learned, nothing changed.

We leave him in his own world. We will continue to respond to society’s needs for realistic solutions to problems. And to fight for a country that will move steadily, boldly and only forward.
