IPMA. Very high risk of exposure to ultraviolet radiation nationwide
The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) warns of the very high risk of exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UV), recorded this Thursday, in all districts of mainland Portugal and the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores.
Levels will still remain very high and high this Friday.
In this sense, the IPMA recommends, when the risk is very high, the use of sunglasses with UV filter, hat, t-shirt, parasol, sunscreen and avoiding exposure of children to the sun.
