Invitation to BIM seminars

The czBIM – buildingSMART Czech Republic team invites you to the upcoming educational BIM seminars. On Tuesday, June 21, it will be a BIM and statics workshop, which will acquaint participants with the ideal state of statics involvement in BIM processes with emphasis on the practical application of BIM tools and individual procedures, even in relation to data standards and ČSN EN ISO 19650.

Furthermore, the issue of parametric modeling (not only) for structural engineers will be discussed. And finally, there is information on the whole issue of rough construction, from the initial design, through the static calculation, the creation of documentation to the implementation support.

23. 6. BIM and parametric design

Parametric design brings unexpected possibilities to design and architecture, and thanks to this method, something like a digital architect is born. The combination of computer and human factor will help create something that is as functional and efficient as possible.
This area is still a relatively unploughed field, but it offers an inexhaustible number of possibilities. Even if it doesn’t seem to be a simple discipline, you will be misled. Many professors and programs are already involved in BIM and parametric design. But what is the connection between parametric design and BIM? How does the creation of parametric geometry, structural physics analysis, design optimization and work with data in the BIM model? What does this method look like in practice? What to expect? What can she do and what are her pitfalls?
Pojďte získat podrobnější informace a discussovat o možnostech využití parametrického navrhování v různých etapách návrhu, a to v pozemním i dopravním stavitelství.

28. 6. BIM a CDE

The common data environment (CDE) is an integral part of the BIM project and thus forms the basis for a successful project. Recently, this topic has come to the fore and a number of questions are also beginning to appear. What all the functionalities a CDE should contain, can the public and private sector define the requirements of the CDE, how to deploy it properly and not accelerate anything, we are really moving towards a non-drawing structure, who has to pay for CDE costs and why some companies use different CDEs within one organization solution?

This is just a fraction of the issues we will be talking about and discussing with important guests. The invitation was accepted by representatives of the public sector, organizations such as the Railway Administration, the Ministry of Defense, but also representatives of large design offices, developers and contractors. Do not hesitate and come to listen to the latest trends in the field of CDE, the various possibilities of using and deploying this tool, and especially to discuss this issue in the parts of the discussion panels.
