Insect cooking researcher Cho Young-gu, who has eaten thousands of crickets for 13 years for his mother-in-law, “I actually hate to eat it.”

Broadcaster Jo Young-gu (53, photo) confessed to a’white lie’ that has been caring for her mother-in-law for 13 years.

In the channel A entertainment program’Icon Tact’, which aired on the 13th, he appeared with Song Hye-young, his mother-in-law, who was special enough to call him’Mom’.

Song Hye-young is the number one insect cooking researcher in Korea who has researched future food for more than 40 years, and there are over 1,000 insect dishes developed so far.

Song Hye-young, who appeared at the invitation of Cho Young-gu, thanked him, saying, “The only thing that eats well is the son-in-law, a reassuring support force, even though the family turns away from insect dishes.”

However, Jo Young-koo said, “Mealworm cookies were really delicious at first. But after that, I had a hard time eating all of the insect pizzas.” He confessed, “I was a little afraid because I ate all the crickets, grasshoppers, and cicadas on the pizza.”

He said, “If I shut my mouth once, my mother-in-law is happy, so I said it was delicious so far.”

Eventually, Jo Young-gu, who met her mother-in-law (the first photo above) in an eye contact room, said, “Actually, I really hated eating the insect dishes my mom gave me.”

The mother-in-law who heard this said, “You always ate in a happy way. Even the crickets you ate would be thousands,” said Young-gu Jo, “I ate it because my mother did it. If you spit it, you will be disappointed. I wanted to be loved by my mother, so I wanted to eat everything deliciously.”

Afterwards, Jo Yeong-gu said, “I want to eat Tteok-guk with beef garnish on this New Year’s Day,” and the mother-in-law agreed and the two ended with a warm reconciliation.
